Is free shipping still offered in the parks/resorts?

So during my October 2015 trip, they were offering free shipping for mailing the souvenirs you bought during your stay to your house. I was able to show the cast members in the resort gift shop the receipts, and they wrapped up all the stuff I bought, boxed it, and shipped it free of charge. I was wondering if this was only a temporary thing or if they still offer free shipping? If it is no longer being offered, does anyone happen to know the shipping rates?

I am trying to decide whether I need to bring additional luggage to bring souvenirs home, so any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

I currently use the shopdisneyparks app. Almost everything in the parks is available there. Sometimes they have free shipping deals no matter what you buy, but they always have a free shipping if you spend $75. So depending on how much you buy, that might be an option.

I am thinking of using the Shop Disney Parks app to scan barcodes of things that I may want to have shipped back home. Thinking it would be better to have Disney ship any breakables than me trying to lug stuff home. At least if it breaks in shipping Disney will replace it. Also any big or bulky items that catch my interest might be easier to just scan the code, buy and ship home right there on the spot.

Not sure how this will really pan out but something to consider at least.

Yeah I have that app but they definitely don't have a lot of stuff that I plan on buying (like pictures and certain things in Epcot, etc) which is why I am hoping the resort gift shop still ships for free!

It was a limited time offer last fall. I was disappointed that it didn't carry over to my early December trip. Ended November 22.

Ahh bummer Oh well...I guess I will have to try to find out the shipping rates and see if it would be more economical to ship from the resort or bring an extra carry on.

We had several CM tell us that if we bought things in the Parks, and then later decided to ship them home, they would adjust the purchase so that tax wasn't charged (I can never keep straight when you pay tax on online purchases and when you don't), and then charge for shipping -- so that if you bought a lot of things the tax might balance out the shipping costs. I have ZERO idea if this is true, because we didn't do it. But more than one CM in more than one store told us about it (and not during a promotion). Anyone else ever hear that?

Last year they did ship for free items that could not be carried on the plane due to regulations (sword from Pirates of the Caribbean).
