We've decided to go over our Spring Break 15-20 March, and wondering if the parks will be REALLY bad. Do you think it will be worth staying on site for FOTL? We're taking our RV and would rather camp if we can. Thanks for the advice !!

Spring Break for schools
Tampa - March 22-26
Orlando - March 22-26
Dade (Miami) - March 29-April 2
Broward (Ft. Lauderdale) - April 5-12
West Palm Beach - March 22-26

Seems the days to avoid in March would be 22-26.

Going by the posted park hours they only expect to be busy at the weekends they are celebrating Mardi-Gras:jester:

Wouldn't you think alot of people(in Tampa and Orlando) would go other places for spring break if they live near Orlando since they can go any time of the year??

Nope. Locals have APs, and the park is day care while the parents work. Drop the kids off with a teen, come back after work. Kids can't hang at a mall, are bored in a home, so the theme park is the place they can legally hang out.

Oh well. the dates we are there are 3/20-3/26 so I guess we'll be there the most crowded week in March. A friend went two years ago and said when it got crowded they would go back to hotel and swim then go back late afternoon. We are staying at HRH so I hope FOTL will help ALOT!!!

You can add Lee County Fl to the list of Spring Break times:
March 15-22....... we will be there........

Florida has all the great attractions. Why would we all want to go somewhere else????:D :p

I would think it would nice to see something different. I try and take my family somewhere different every spring break. We have been skiing and to the beach and on a cruise and now to Orlando. It's a great learning experience and a great way to see the different parts of the country.
