Is food allowed on the busses?

Ummm yeah that's not gonna work either... usually after about 20 min they get restless in a car we give them a snack... god... this is gonna suck.. maybe I'll look up car rentals.

Perhaps in your case, that would be best.

While that may have been your experience, the rule is still no food or drink on the buses.
And for those who claim to be unaware of these rules, there are several signs posted on each bus, stating them.

My spiel : " There is no eating or drinking allowed on this bus............unless you brought enough for everybody!"
Note to self: Bring enough to share – at least with the bus driver ;)

Were you either going to or coming from MK? If so, you were probably on my bus.

Of course, I normally use that spiel when the bus is full, it usually gets a bigger chuckle. I also know if guests actually heard the spiel (wether they actually listened - well who knows)

How about if a current driver say's this.

I didn't reply earlier as Tyler summed it up perfectly.

On my bus, I'll deny boarding to open drinks or any sort of alcoholic beverage. I'll let you slide with a covered drink, but I'll usually ask that you don't drink it while on board.

Were you there in October, because this sounds vaugely familiar:upsidedow
I remember a driver saying words to that effect on the way to the Magic Kingdom for a Halloween Party.

Apparently food and drinks are NOT allowed on the busses, and take your food on at your own risk. If you come across a driver who either denies your right to board, or asks you to dump it out, you can't say you were unaware of the risk,

I won't worry so. The bus ride is not that long, and there is a video on too. That should help to keep the kiddies occupied.

It was mid-March, on a weekday, either POFQ-MK (before ropedrop) or MK-POFQ (afternoon).

Yikes! That could get sticky quick, huh? Maybe the movie will occupy them. Most drivers show it.

I think I am really, really lucky -- my kids ride in the car several times a week for 45 minutes each direction, and every few months 3 hours each direction. Rarely is eating allowed in the car, so they are just used to occupying themselves in other ways. Perhaps take them for some local roadtrips before your trip, get them used to car-rides without food?

There are so many bus rides if you don't have a rental car, the rental might be a good option for you. Good luck to you! ......and have a magical trip!!

I know the 1-yr old might not be too excited about the fact that you're almost to WDW but I'd bet the older two could be safely occupied looking for Mickey. ;)
