Is Fantasyland Early Morning Magic worth it?

This is my first trip the WDW since I was a kid and I will be traveling in January with my husband and my five-year-old and another family with a five-year-old and a three-year-old. It was a last minute trip so most of the "special" dining options were already filled up, but some slots opened up for the EMM in Fantasyland, and I grabbed them.

None of us are big eaters so we definitely won't get our money's worth from the buffet breakfast, but I am thinking the early access to SDMT will be worth the $60-70 each, plus we will be in the park early and can get in line early for other popular rides as well. What do you think? If you've done EMM in MK recently, were you glad you did?

Not sure it is worth it, that varies, but reports I read all said you could ride each ride like 3 or 4 times on average then be up front in line for something else popular like princess m&g

I haven't done it, would like to. Pretty much any of the reviews that I have read, felt that it was definitely worth the money. It definitely gives you an edge on park touring since you can save your FP+ for other rides.

We did the morning magic back in August. We got up and going a bit on the late side, and got into the park about 15 minutes after the event started. We still had plenty of ride time. I managed to do SDMT about 4 times, plus 2 or 3 rides on Peter Pan, and at least 2 on Pooh before we went for breakfast. I am careful with how I spend my money, trying to get the most out of my vacation budget, and I would say this event is money well spent.
