Is Fantasmic Dinner Package needed 2/28??

Do you think we will need the Fantasmic Dinner Package in order to see Fantasmic February 28th or do you think we would be able to get seats with out a long wait with out the Package?

Right now we have the FDP at Brown Derby for 4:00pm but was wondering if it is needed at that time of year. It is my sisters first trip and I really want her to be able to see Fantasmic as I am sure she will love it. I know I do.

I would like to Try to get in to 50's prime time too but they don't have the FDP. I can not decide on this one.

Hey Bobbie Ann,

We'll be at MGM on 2/28 also. We're actually visiting AK early in the day and will finish at MGM. Because I don't want to take the time out of our park day to eat, I decided to roll the dice and cancel my ADR/Fantasmic Package for Hollywood & Vine. I've read on other boards that MGM should not be terribly busy on this day. I'm planning on being lined up at least 30 minutes before the show and will hope for the best!

We did this last year at this time and had no problem. We just showed up about 1 hour before show time, and we had great seats!! We did have to fork out the money for light up toys, but had a lot of fun people watching before the show. I have only gone at this time of year and have yet to experience the lines that posters talk about. We are going this year a little earlier and are gambling again with no package. Good luck!! It is our FAVORITE nighttime show!!!!
