My window opens next week and I'm wondering:

Can I pre-book 2 FP+ at different times for the same ride for myself? DH wants to do Star Tours which makes me sick. Can I book myself 2 FP+ for TOT? He'd ride with me once then he'd ride ST while I ride TOT again. I love TOT in DL and am really excited to see the one in DHS!

I'm also still on the fence about EE due to motion sickness. For anyone who's been to DLR, I can do BTMRR and Matterhorn with no problem at all. I can ride Cali Screamin' ONCE and feel a bit queasy afterwards. I canNOT do Space or Star Tours without becoming ill. Can I do Everest? I really, really want to.

Sorry, you won't be able to book two ToT FPs for yourself. It has to be three different attractions for the initial 3 FPs.

My older DD has motion issues and rode EE once. She didn't become ill but has never chosen to ride it again. She avoids Star Tours and Space but loves ToT.

I personally think that as long as you were fine on matterhorn and big thunder then you should be perfectly fine...star tours and space mountain are waaay more likely to make you feel sick

Re: whether you can handle Everest. . . You said you cannot handle Space and Star Tours - do you mean Space Mountain, or Mission:Space? I thought you meant Mission:Space, and I'd say it sounds like motion simulators bother you, but the actual physical roller coasters are fine. I think Everest is more exciting than Big THunder Mountain, but similar in terms of the types of hills and curves. If you meant Space Mountain, maybe it's not being able to see the tracks that bothers you? In that case, again, you're out in daylight a lot on Everest and may be fine. Basically, I get motion sick on some things, so I know it stinks, but if you like coasters then I wouldn't miss EE if I were you!

Star Tours (new version) is the only WDW ride I've ever felt nauseated on (and it lasted about an hour). I personally don't like straight roller coaster or flume ride drops because of the way they make my stomach jump (but I still go on Splash Mountain because I love the overall ride). Expedition Everest has never made my stomach jump like that, I think because the track curves (so it's more of a swooping motion). Hopefully between that and the ride being outdoors (not in the dark like Space Mountain), you'll be okay. Either way, it's over very quickly, so at least if you do feel sick you'll be able to sit down and take a breather soon.

Keep in mind that Expedition Everest goes backwards in the dark. If riding backwards in a car or commuter train makes you sick, then I'd skip EE. Alternately, you could ride it late in the day after taking nausea meds (or wear Sea Bands) so if it won't ruin your day if you do get sick.

I meant the rides at Disneyland, this will be my first time to WDW. I do love coasters and it's been making me crazy I want to go on EE so bad! I've pretty much decided to go for it and stash a plastic bag in my pocket! I've never actually gotten sick ON a ride but last time I rode SM (at Disneyland) I ended up back in the hotel for a couple of hours 'being sick' (to put it delicately).

I've got Bonine & Sea Bands. I've never ridden 'backwards' on anything, but I have ridden in a moving travel trailer & was OK.

Does EE come to a sudden stop at the end or more of a glide into the station?
