Is everything doable in one day only?

On a weekday in October? Absolutely its possible. Crowds are very light and lines max at 30-40 minutes for headliner attractions, if even that. Just don't go on a Halloween party day when the park closes early and avoid Columbus Day.

Hi all,

I'm planning a trip to LA for the beginning of October, and we have basically one day that we can allot to Disneyland. I've already looked at both California Adventure and Disneyland itself and our group has decided that Disneyland's attractions are more must see than CA.

But with only one day, do you think we can actually hit all the rides and whatnot? It doesn't seem as though the operating hours have popped up yet, so I'm not sure how much time on that day we're looking at ether. On top of that, I'm not remotely familiar with the crowd patterns at DL. I know the first week of October is usually pretty light in DW, but I'd guess DL is a whole other ballgame.

This is probably a once in a lifetime trip to California, so I want to at least try to see as much as I can. We're going to be a group of four adult females, so we can skip the smaller, children oriented rides.

We've done it all in one day, w/o kids to slow us down. When park hours were 8am-midnight. Get there when the rope drops, and be one of the last to leave. FYI, the shops on Main Street are open an hour AFTER the parks official closing time, but the parking lot trams leave an hour after that closing time too.
