On their first trip. I've switched reservations 5 times! First to move the date for work so that isn't being indecisive. But after that I have switched between CBR and POFQ back and forth 3 times. I love the benefits of POFQ but don't like the rooms or theming nearly as much. At CBR I think the rooms, pools and grounds are much more appealing but don't like the multiple bus stops and time to get to the parks because of the bus stops. So I am switching back and renting. A car to use DH doesn't think the car is necessary. We will see!

I personally like having a car at WDW. It makes things like restaurant reservations so much more convenient.

I like CBR much more then POFQ. Go with which you like more. POFQ sometimes shares busses with POR so you may get multiple bus stops anyway, pick the hotel that appeals more to you. We are not indecisive because we know what we like.

Can you book a preferred room at CBR? I would do that instead of renting a car if you really want to stay at CBR.

On our first trip we weren't indecisive at all, lol...It technically wasn't our first trip but it was our first trip staying on site...I knew I wanted to stay Monorail and the theme at the contemporary just jumped out at me so thats where we stayed...we loved it so much that the following year we booked another trip there but when they released the spring discounts it didn't include contemporary, but we did get to stay Grand Floridian. Again that decision was kind of made for us, LOL. We knew we wanted to stay on monorail bc its was just easier with a youngster. Anyways now I find myself planning our 2017 trip and I am feeling very indecisive about the resort...My toddler will be 3 in a half at the time of our stay so the monorail resorts aren't really a necessity anymore in my eyes, lol. Its between 5 resorts and we are waiting for the 2017 packages to come out before we decide. We are trying to decide between CR, Poly, AKL, WL, & BC...I even have a spread sheet made up of pros and cons of each resort, LOL...that way when the packages come out I can plug in the prices and then we can decide between that. I am just a tad obsessive when it comes to planning a Disney trip, LOL

When you say you like the benefits of POFQ, what are those benefits?

I've stayed at both CBR and POFQ and for me, I much prefer POFQ. I hated the size of CBR, and I won't stay there again unless I could get a preferred room. A car would make it acceptable, but I have no sense of direction and would hate driving to the parks.

The 1 bus stop is something you may not get at POFQ. Sometimes the bus goes to POR and picks up guests there too. Not always, but on occasion.

I agree! For our first onsite stay, we looked at pics of a lot of resorts and made a decision from there. We do like to try different resorts and still choose by what we like as far as theme/decor and what appeals to us .

Keep checking if preferred is what you want. There's no guarantee, but sometimes availability does change and there is a possibility a preferred might become available .

Always!!! But somehow beach club wins our hearts.

Personally I didn't like the bus at CBR, and it's one reason we won't stay there again.

We are torn between POFQ and WL for our arrival night (before moving to bc). I love the boat to Disney springs from POFQ for dinner after our flight. But my hubby and girls want me to pay more and try WL just for one night. They want to take the boat to the camp ground and walk around and then have breakfast at WCC in the WL before moving to BC. Then we end with two free nights at the GF. So st least with three choices I'm even more
