Is EMH worth it early december?

Booked to go during the week, early December.
Only two attractions that I want to ride that are open then. Dumbo and Peter Pan.
Is it worth being there for opening at 8am in December, off peak?

If Peter Pan is important to you. Then yes. Wait times are incrediblely long for this ride unless you have a fast pass.

yes i'd say so - but you will also be able to fastpass peter pan, and if you're going midweek, you should be able to get on Dumbo after dark without too much of a wait.

If you're going to do EMH at all, go for 8am, as by 9am the few rides which are open will have queues.

I got there for about 7:45am when I last went and will be doing exactly the same when I go back in December

EMH is not just about the rides that are open.

1. Photo time
Its about the only time you can get photos of Main Street, The Castle and Fantasyland with no random people in the background

2. Characters
Characters used to be in the hotels during breakfast time but that was changed last year. Characters are now around Main Street during EMH, so that hotel guests get an exclusive Meet and Greet

3. Rope Drop
During EMH, Frontierland and Adventureland are closed off by ropes. This means that at official park opening times the ropes are removed by CMs ie Rope Drop. Anyone who is in the park during EMH can line up at the ropes and so be the first people to enter Frontierland and Adventureland and the first people in Star Tours. The EMH people are already in the first boat at Pirates or the first doom buggy in Phantom Manor or the first train carriage in Big Thunder Mountain or on the first Star Tours while the general public are still halfway down Main Street.
