Is early to mid November a good time to go?

We have wonderful memories of low crowds in September....but we don't think we'll be able to make that work this year, and we'd love cooler weather. How does early to mid November compare to September? Is it at least less crowded than October? Thank you for advising!

Early November is when "Jersey week" is and it is VERY crowded around that time. It feels like the entire state of NJ flocks down to WDW. The Wine and Dine Half Marathon is also around that time which will bring in some crowds.

Jersey Week next year will be 11/7-11/8.

We've gone during this week before and will be going this year. Yes it's busy but IMO completely doable with a good plan and avoiding Epcot on the weekend.

I think October is just as busy, if not busier. Anytime is going to be busy. There really is no slow time at Disney other than late August.

We love going in November but we go post Jersey week before Thanksgiving, usually a full week and half prior to and the crowds are pretty manageable, it's the sweet spot for us. It's definitely not super light crowds so don't think it's going to be empty but it's no where near spring break time. Same for early December if you can go, a full week after Thanksgiving but not close to Christmas school break. You can enjoy all the holiday decor and nice wetaher. Weather can still be warm in November but it's pretty low humidity so makes it very comfortable.

I’ve done early Nov a few times and it is nothing like early Sept this year was. Early Sept had the lowest crowds of the year. In fact, as pointed out above, just a bit into Nov you get Jersey Week + F&W Marathon + Veterans Day- which actually leads to pretty high crowds. Heck, there has been more than one thread started here this year by people wondering why there is no availability for hotels at what must surely be a slow time of early-mid Nov 😬

Sure, they are “manageable” crowds, but if you’re after that low crowd magic that was the first couple weeks of Sept? Forget it. That only happens in the first couple weeks of Sept.

The only issue about going in mid-November you miss out on the holiday events at Epcot for festival of the holidays. You will be there during the end of the food and wine festival so weekends would be busy at Epcot.

We love the week after veteran's day and before thanksgiving. Weekends are still busy though. The closer to thanksgiving you get the more resort decorations will be up.
