Hello.

I am curious to individual opinions based on length of ownership.

Do you feel the value (not necessarily in monetary terms) of DVC is being sustained over time?

'Value' could mean many things to many people, so look at it this way:

You have the same overall good experience or better with each visit.

or...

The experience is losing some of the luster as time passes.

Feel free to comment.

Thanks.

We have owned for just under 5 years. We have always loved our WDW vacations, and DVC makes them even better. My most recent stay was 5 nights in a studio. The Disboards have helped make my WDW experience even better because of the little things that I've learned here, and the internet friends I have made, and some of them have turned into real life friends. I wouldn't have found the Disboards unless I had been looking into purchasing DVC! I did a DVC resale search on the internet and Disboards came up, and it's become a hobby for me.

We have owned since 1993 and for awhile our interest took us in a different direction (sports for my DS). The past 4 years his baseball has brought us to Disney or Tampa and have renewed their interest in visiting.:thumbsup2 We will be going down in August for a graduation celebration with Ds and 6 friends in a GV at OKW. DS and friends call me everyday for a count down!! Our days are more leisure than the early years, but the enjoyment is still there.

Own 8 1/2 years! Still love it! Used my points at Paradise Pier in Disneyland last week, so I've expanded beyond WDW for the first time!

We've owned at OKW since 1995 and we still look forward to every stay there. My satisfaction with DVC and OKW is the same now as it was when we first purchased. I'd rate it 9 out of 10 overall, not perfect but close. Looking into the future I see our travel patterns and the way we use our membership to remain the same for at least the next three years or so. After that we expect to start our extended stays at OKW. We used our points for one DCL cruise back in 2001 but other than that we've be so pleased with our membership and the DVC resorts at WDW that we've never traded out and I doubt we ever will.

We love it more and more with each visit. It was well worth the money. I would not change our purchase at all. :goodvibes

We are owners since 2000 at 4 different resorts. We are enjoying it more each year, just DW and I. It is our retirement home. We are leaving WI. this morning for 2 days at AKV then onto the Magic for the Panama Canal cruise then 2 days at the Grand Californian in Disneyland.:cool1:
