Is DVA worth the hassle for the 2% gift card?

It's always worked for me. It's only a little bit, but every little bit helps. It's also really easy to use. I've literally added money in the account while on hold with the castmember. 2% here, 5% here, a few percents here and there, and it all adds up.

If you use your DVA for multiple trips it might make sense. If you spend $1500 on the first trip, you would get a $20 bonus. If you use the same DVA and spend $1500 on a second trip, you would get $40 on that one.

Oops! I misread the question. You are correct that it makes sense if you are taking multiple trips. That's how I use mine and now that I reread the question, that's obviously what was being asked. I misread the post as asking about the timing of depositing the money if you weren't going to hit the next $1000 goal.
