I have read a few comments about the possibility of Ducky being on the Panama cruise. Does anyone have positive knowledge of this?
I have also noticed on one post the comment that each room would be given 2 lithographs as well.
My reason for asking is that this goes against Ducky's personal comments to me on the 10 day cruise. He stated in a conversataion I had with him that he was too swamped with work to attend the May cruise and yes he did have ONE litho ready to be handed out on the cruise plus one certificate of crossing (not a second litho). I'm wondering if this has changed for sure or is it just speculation.

Ducky said in one of his sessions on the 10 day that he would be doing both of the repo cruises as well as the DVC Member cruise and 6 other cruises (9 total I belive).

We only got one litho on the 10 day holiday cruise -not two.

I'm very aware that we received only one litho on the 10 day cruise as I was on it. My question was intended to crarify the comments written in other posts.
I also attended the sessions with Ducky and he stated that he was doing lithos for these trips but never stated he was attending. If anyone has accurate knowledge of any changes I would be very interested in knowing.

roly - well you've gone back and edited your post but you said 2 lithographs like on the 10 day so I was clarifying that we didn't get 2.

As for accurate information - well I heard it from Ducky himself in the presentation that he would be on 9 cruises this year including both repo cruises. I don't know how much more accurate you can get.

Can I ask a stupid question?

Who is he???

Susan,

Ducky Williams is the Senior Illustrator at WDW. He does the artwork for the tickets, pamphlets, etc. The characters that surround the entry gates to WDW were also done by him.

He was on our cruise last April and does a couple of presentations while on board. As he talks he draws characters on a flip chart which are given away at the end of the presentation (everyone gets a raffle ticket when they enter the theater). My DW was lucky and won a drawing of Donald Duck when we saw him. He also did a smaller "workshop" on how to draw Mickey, which was a lot of fun.

He was very interesting and talented. I really hope he is on our August repo cruise. I'd like to see him again and hopefully get a chance to talk with him.

Is there any way to find out which 9 cruises Ducky will be on??

Are kids allowed to go see him? My 11 year old DD would flip if he was on the August repo. cruise and she got to see him.She wants to work for Disney as an animator.

On the 10 day there were two sessions that were supposed to be adults only but there were a number of children there (some which shouldn't have been because they were very distracting).

There was however a special family "learn to draw Mickey" session which was open to everyone. In addition I had heard that he also did some talks right in the kids clubs.

Also one clarrification - Ducky is an artist, not an animator. He said it tried it and didn't care for it personally since it was too repetitive.
