Hi,

My best friend and I are planning a trip to DLP. This will be the one and only time that we go. We plan to spend three days in the parks and three nights at a hotel. I usually go for the inexpensive hotel, but I really want to stay at The Disneyland Hotel. It is twice the price of Santa Fe- is it worth it? :confused3
Thanks for any input!

If you get one of the rooms overlooking the park it HAS to be worth it for the view alone!! :):):):)

I'm sure the people that HAVE stayed there will be able to list many many other good points.

If this is your only time then I would definately go for the best! Once in a lifetime trips have to be done to the max!!!

For me, absolutely!!! I didn't get a room overlooking the park, although I could see the top of Orbitron, but it was worth every penny anyway. There are characters there every breakfast time, the decor is beautiful, the staff are fabulous, and you are right at the entrance to the park.

I have stayed at the Cheyenne, Dream Castle, and this Nov am going to the Sequoia Lodge but for me nothing can beat the DLH for that special feeling.

It's really up to you - you will have a fantastic time wherever you stay.

IMHO

YES!!!!!

I agree with all these comments. If you can afford it, then go for it. If you think it's too much money, then you'll have a great time wherever you stay. :)

We have just come back from our trip staying at the DLH and it made our trip SO special. :lovestruc

In my opinion ... if it's your ONE and ONLY time ... YES !!!!!!!

You are going to make WONDERFUL memories !!! The hotel is just sooooooooo beautiful !! their two sitdown restaurants are very good , lounges and the small-but-warm lobby are so cozy !!! You will feel like Cinderella at her ball !!!
From the hallways you get nice views of the main park ...
we had standard rooms , still very large, with nice furniture ... castle type !!
and comfy armchairs or sofa!!! Beautiful !!!

Yes, it's expensive ... but you are going to be treated like royalty!!!

HAVE A MAGIC VACATION !!!!

Laura

Yes it is worth it. We have stayed there twice. But everybody should keep in mind that there are NO standard rooms with (real) park view. And as far as I know there are only some rooms in the castle club with a real view to the park.
But when you are in one of the two restaurants for breakfast you will have a wonderfull view!
