Is Disneyland gonna make changes to Peter Pan's Flight?

With the news that Disneyland Paris is going to make changes to Peter Pan's Flight I wonder if Disneyland is gonna do the same thing to it's Peter Pan's Flight ride as well? My mom adores Peter Pan's Flight and I would be surprised if Peter Pan's Flight gets updated with a whole new storyline. What changes will be done to Peter Pan's Flight?

They updated it a few years ago with some new technology/lights etc in the same way they updated Alice in Wonderland so I would think they won't update it anytime soon. They seem to be updating each of the Fantasyland dark rides one at a time with a little technology upgrade so I would think Pinocchio or Mr. Toad would be next on the update list but who knows?

I think OP is referring to edits being reported for the Disneyland Paris version that will remove Tigerlily and the Indians due to their racist and culturally insensitive nature.

Rumor does seem to be that these changes will be made at all parks.

ETA: Everything thus far is purely RUMORS on actual ride changes.

There is currently no official news that DLP is making any changes to Peter Pan. They digitally removed the village scene from a promo video about the ride at DLP. People are assuming this will be an eventual change, but nothing has been announced. The thread about it over on rumors and news got locked.

I've never understood the big deal about this ride. Why the huge lineups? To me it is no better than any of the Fantasyland dark rides lol.

I think it *should* change. If Jungle Cruise is set for it (I think that was publicly announced), Peter Pan would logically follow.

Luckily, if I remember correctly (it’s obviously been a while), it would be easy to remove/alter the portrayal of Native Americans without really changing the narrative of the ride.
