I've had one for years now, no annual fee on mine. You basically get $1 reward for every $100 charged that can be transferred to a seperate rewards card that can be used at almost anywhere at Disney for mechandise, meals etc. I use my rewards every year to pay my DVC dues. Actually have most of my monthly bills set for auto payment using Disney Visa to accumulate all the points I can, then pay the balance off monthly.
While I'll be the first to tell you there are better Visas (and Mastercards) with cash back rewards and things the Disney Visa is excellent. My fiance uses a cash back Visa for all his purchases and all the "big" bills and pays that off at the end of the month. I use the Disney visa for my little things and pay it off to get the rewards. 1 dollar for every 100. No fees. Decent APR. I have used the rewards to pay for the dining plan, etc. You also get promotions that are not offered to others. I would say go for it.
We have one and it has worked out well for us as dh uses it almost exclusively for business expenses. We had enough Reward Dollars to pay for our park tickets last year but I would say that our experience might not be typical as dh can put as much as $15,000 on it at one time.
If you use the link on the dvc members webpage to apply, you get a 100 dollar gift card for your first purchase.
Also get 0% APR for 6 months on any disney vacation you book with the card, also for down payments when you buy point through DVC up to 2500.
Present your disney visa card for a special meet-n-greet in epcot with disney charters. They are ussualy a mix of the fab five and you geet a lot more time than at a normal charter meet plus a free pic.
We are founding members of the Chase Disney Visa. I highly recommend it if you visit Disney at least once every two years and use your credit card often for everyday purchases and bigger ticket items. There is no annual fee. I had enough points to save $725 off my Disney World trip last month. Additionally, I was able to charge my trip package and have 6 months interest free. Since we are in the process of purchasing at BLT, we are going to get 6 months interest free on that down payment too. You can use your rewards at Disney restaurants, stores, etc. Other benefits include savings on movie tickets, dvds, kids clothing purchases from the Disney store, etc. Review the Chase Disney Rewards Card website that others have mentioned for all benefits.
