Is Disney going to release Park hours before Oct 27th ADR armageddon?

So, like many people my ADR window will open on Oct 27th. Our vacation is in April and we are traveling with 11 individuals, so getting ADRs is going to be tricky. I really want to be able to make them on Oct 27th (I plan on being up at 3am) and not have to change them again because juggling ADRs is tricky with a large group. Do you think that Disney will release park hours for the entire 6 months prior to Oct 27th, or do you think we will just be winging it?

I hope Disney will, but from what I've heard, not likely. We're going March 13-20, so I'll be up at 3 a.m. on October 27th, too, in the hopes of scoring our favorites.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Disney cuts us a break and releases the schedule early!

Back in the old 180 window days, no. At least the EMH seem more stable now.

You do know for groups over 8 you need to book through Magical Gatherings.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to the park hours question, but you used to have to make a best guess at 180 days in the past.

As HaleyB said you won't be able to book all 11 in one reservation online. You will receive a message saying the party size exceeds the facility (or something like that). You can book smaller groups in multiple windows around the same time if you don't mind splitting up. When you check in you can ask to be seated together, but there won't be any guarantees.

I just don't want to see you get up at 3AM for nothing! Good Luck!

1) The Disney announcement said they were to release park hours at 180-days.
2) Let's hope they get it done in time.
3) Or, you take you best guess at ADR times.

NOTE: In the far distance, I can faintly hear all the computers crashes already.

I'm hoping for the park hours to be out, but am highly doubting it.
Only two things I want to know is when will Fantasmic be and when will be a DHS EMH night!
We're going march 24-31 - any guesses!?

I am also wondering about the system holding up under the pressure on this one. I really hope it does. I manage to escape being forced to do ADR's on the 27th, but I know how everyone puts SOOOOO much time and heart into the planning (it's like a full time job) and I really don't like to think that anyone has to be disappointed. Idealistic? Maybe, but people make the world go round - I like to see them happy! All the best you guys who are bracing yourselves for the big ADR day - I will be thinking of you!

:confused3

I'm not expecting it so I'm using my schedule from last year. Hopefully, it won't be too far off.

Fantasmic is only on two nights a week. It has been this way for quite some time now and I am unaware of any rumours of change. Sometimes, depending on the season, they have it twice in one evening. If you check out the current times on the WDW website you will see which nights they are and that they are pretty stable. I would reckon there it is fairly safe to go on these nights. (one is a Tuesday I think but I can't remember off the top of my head).

Last year, the Evening EMH for HS was Mondays.

Not to be nosey, but, do you get up at 3am to do ADRs because you live on the west coast and there is a 3 hr. difference?
We will be in WDW 3-14 to 3-21, but I am so glad we decided to try WDW without the DDP this trip and check out some of the restaurants that are not on the DDP. Since it's just DH and I...we will be very flexible and will only make a few ADRs. The whole 10-27-09 fiasco scares me.:scared1:

As of right now the system has been rolling over at 3am eastern. I just barely missed having to getup at 2am my time. I made adrs like a week before it astarted doing this! When I made ADRS it was rolling at 6 am eastern, 5am my time.

I will be making adr's on the 27th as well.
Yesterday I made ADR's for my cousin's family for their trip in January and the dates didn't rollover until 6am Eastern time. I got up at 5:30AM and tried but had to wait until 6am.
