Has anyone got "dinged" since last night at 7:30PM? I sure do think they are getting slower and fewer; doesn't look good for an extra trip.

I was thinking the same thing. At one point I was getting 3 - 4 DINGS a day. Now I'm lucky if I get 2? :confused3

I was ding'd this morning first thing.

Oops..I just double checked..that was from the 11th. So, nope.

So 20 hours later, we get a DING.

Does your message say the same thing? "Another DING! offer on the same day?...."

This is my first DING all day, believe me I have been watching.
I thought I saw this mistake again earlier this week, but snubbed it off thinking I was crazy. Does anyone know what these things say, or is it totally random.

Oh well, nothing that helped me today. Wishing someone else good luck.

I came over here to see if anyone else had noticed the same thing about the message and the one earlier this week. Thought maybe I was missing something. I just started "Dinging" 2 weeks ago so am still not sure what to expect. I was also surprised there was nothing earlier today.

The wording of today's phrase "another Ding on the same day" when this was the first makes me wonder how the decide a ding is released. Is it totally random with the quote being automatically selected?

It does appear to me that the number of daily Dings have decreased over the last month. I wonder if it is because flights are in more demand at the holiday time and thus less of a need to reduce fares?

or since Southwest is doing so well compared to its competitiors, they have decided to take advantage of the capitalistic way and charge what the market will bear.
