Hi,
Visiting WDW for the first time in March '08 w/ DH & DD (4). We definitely plan to do the Cinderella's Royal Table, the Mary Poppins breakfast at the GF, the princess meal at Epcot, and possibly one at MGM or AK. Do you think the DDP is worth it. We will probably be eating most meals at WDW, but I am wondering if its cheaper to pay OOP for everything. DH eats a lot (natch), I can go either way (i.e. if it's there and I've paid for it), and DD has a healthy appetite. Just was wondering if everyone can weigh in who have done the character dining whether the DDP would offset the costs or not.

Thanks so much!!!!:flower3:

We also do several character meals. From what I can tell, you will "break even" depending on you CS lunch choices. I would love other opinions!

Well, your TS meals (5 TS credits per person) would total $284 (give or take depending on if you are eating breakfast, lunch or dinner at CRT, Epcot Princess meal and the AK/MGM meal.) Your dining plan costs for 5 nights will be $430ish. Since you'd also have access to 15 snack credits and 15 CS meals (average $3/snack credit value and $10/adult CS credit, $5/child CS credit value) You'll come out ahead ...slightly on the DDP if you want to do all those TS meals.
