Is DDE good for character meals?

I'm getting my AP tonight and will then call for the DDE. Does anyone know if the DDE is good on character meals? It really starts being worth it for us if it is.

Yes, DDE can be used on Character Meals.

We're getting one for our next trip. We break even after just one meal at Victoria and Alberts .

Thanks for the info. That will definitely make it worth it. Of course, I wish it'd be easier to pick up - seems like there would be more than one place to pick your card up but so far all the posts I've seen said it's at Epcot Guest Services. I know we'll have to pick it up since we'll be there in 5 weeks and I've read it's a 6-8 week wait.
