Is CSR preferred room worth it???

My family and my mom are going and getting 2 rooms. It was an extra $224. It will be nice to be closer to the food court since my mom is 77 and it will make it a little easier for her. I just didn't want to get stuck in the rancheros section which seems really far. We are going to have a rental car. Do you think the extra $224/room is worth it?

It is not worth it to us because we prefer the Cabanas. Although we might go to El Centro once or twice per trip, we go to the Dig Site every day. The cabanas are located in between the Dig Site and El Centro.

If it is important to be near El Centro, the preferred rooms are probably worth it. Since you will have a car, you could drive from your room to El Centro if you get put in ranchos. You can also ride any park bus around to the front of the resort (this does not work with DTD buses, since they stop first at El Centro).

You do not need to pay the premium, and you do not need to stay
Rancheros. If your Mom is not able to walk the short distance, then do drive or take the bus. It may not be that far.
For this reason, make a room request for the Cabanas or Casitas close to the Food Court. You may not get a water view, but you may get convenience.
