DH really wants to do an early breakfast in MK so that we can be there at 8, walking down Main Street when hardly anyone's around. Why couldn't he have told me this a long time ago when I could have gotten CRT??? I went ahead and made an ADR for Crystal Palace and DD was a bit upset because she's afraid she's going to be embarrassed by it all. She's at that age where she thinks she's too old for Pooh Bear. :( I assured her that it wouldn't be babyish, but I'm just curious what you all think?

And, BTW, where exactly is it in the MK?

I don't think its babyish. My 14 year old son is "too cool" also but he still always smiles when the characters mess with him. He would go again.

As for where it is, walk to the end of Main Street where Casey's is and take a left. Its the big white "Crystal Palace" with all the windows.

My DD11 & DS7 loved CP when we were there last month.

Even had their pics taken with all of the characters.

We were just there for lunch and didn't find it to be babyish at all. We really enjoyed the characters. The selection of food was great, as well as the taste. They had some wonderful salads and desserts.

We just visted there last week and my 11 year old dd really enjoyed her meal and the character interaction. There was something at the buffet that everyone enjoyed.

My son was 10 and my daughter 8 and they enjoyed it. I find that my kids really get into the spirit of Disney when we are there and enjoy all the fun. I doubt my son would ham it up with Pooh and Tigger at home, especially if any of his friends could see him, but at WDW he is always game!

MY GF and I have eaten there on every trip. We have no kids in tow, and we still enjoy it. One thing I've noticed is that the characters are very good at sensig whether or not you're receptive to them. If you don't want to interact with them a lot, they'll stop by to say hello, then move on. Personally, we like to really get into it-- I fear for anyone we know seeing us act the way we do around the characters!

I went at 15 and LOVED IT :thumbsup2 My sisters, then 13 and 10 also adored it.

It's not babyish, no more than the rest of Disney is anyway. It's COOL. Which is why, at 21, I'm going back in the summer. With my 21 year old friend. No kids, just two grown women having lunch with Pooh :rotfl: :woohoo:

DW and I love going there to eat and we don't think it is too babyish. From what we have seen while eating there, kids of all ages have fun and while they might start of hesitant when the characters come around they have a blast.
