Hello,
I have been a busy bee planning for my families first trip to WDW in Dec. 3-8.
My question is -in CRT worth it- I just called and we can get in for lunch.I have 1900 Fare( Cinderella) and Princess Storybook booked. I just do not want my 2 1/2 year old princess princess: to miss out. Money is a issue. It is taking alot of stealing from Paul to pay Peter to get us to WDW. Should I book???Please advise.

Thanks so much!!!!!

My husband would say no...I would say try it at least once. I thought the food was pretty good, my DH said it was ok at best. I loved the atmosphere!!

Many people are angry that Disney has raised the prices at CRT but they did it to curb the demand that had reached a fever pitch. I personally think that CRT is worth it. I just made a ressie for my Dniece at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and then lunch at CRT. This will be an expensive day, but I love that Disney gives us the chance to make such a "magical" day for our little ones.

All that being said, if it were going to adversly affect the finances for the rest of my trip, I would not book it, especially with 1900 Park Faire and PSB already booked. Both of those are wonderful meal expiriences.

We did it once, and I think that's enough. It was really cool to eat in the castle - but that was about it.

The food was below average. Our server was a smug jerk (but I don't hold that against the restaurant as a whole). The place was extremely cramped and in need of major updating, especially the restroom. ;)

And of course, it was terribly expensive. I'd rather pay the long buck someplace else in the World. :)

crt is a must it least once, being in the castle is so cool. we go to crt every trip. the food is good (i really like the salmon & my husband likes the pot pie) & the character interaction is alot of fun. i would definetly go!

THANK YOU ALL!!!
I JUST BOOKED DEC. 8TH 2P.M. FOR LUNCH
IT WILL BE OUR LAST MEAL BEFORE WE GO HOME :cheer2:. I THINK I AM MORE EXCITED THAN MY 2 YEAR OLD ALY princess: !!!!

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Our family has always done the breakfast there. I love it. I think the atmosphere is fabulous, and I really like their breakfast food.
This upcoming trip will be our first time to do lunch there. I hope the food will be good. I still haven't figured out what on earth I will order.
Have a great time. It really is a magical experience, IMO.

Given the new pricing structure that went into effect in February, CRT is worth doing once if you have never eaten in the castle. That said, it really isn't worth what they are charging now, pictures or no pictures with the package. IMHO it is way too much money for way too mediocre food. But again, the location is worth paying for once if you've never been.

We used to eat there once every trip, but won't any more under the new structure. As for eating in the castle we've been there, done that. Beyond that, 1900 Park Fare (great meal, better than CRT IMHO) and the Princess Storybook Breakfast are more than adequate replacements for dining with the princesses.

We've been there once for lunch and personally I thought that the food was fantastic! I love the atmosphere. It was so magical to be in the castle!

It's nice that it includes the photo packet($36), now, too. It makes up for the 2 credit charge on the DDP.

You'll have fun, enjoy!!!! I always think it's worth trying at least once! :Pinkbounc

I've been to b-fast 3 times before the price increase, and it just is not worth what they are charging now. We've gotten better food at other Disney character meals. It was fun to eat in the castle, but if money is tight at all, I'd skip this one. Last time (Dec.) we had some of the worst service, and they weren't organized with the picture thing yet. They insisted we go down for a picture, then they put our food on the table to get cold while we were down there. (I had them bring out hot eggs and didn't make my kids eat those cold, nasty ones.) I'd wait on this one for another trip when your princess is a little older and when you don't have other princess meals booked.

I hope so, as DD6 and I will be there on the 24th!! I am SO excited! Have a great Dec. trip!!!

We've eaten there 3 times and thought the food was below average, too. You are definitely paying ALOT for the ambience. But I think that's the case with most of WDW's restaurants. I really think WDW's food isn't great, but it's the atmosphere that makes it special.

I personally think 3 princess meals for a 2 year old is a bit too much, especially if money is an issue.

We tried it the first time this May. My daughters are 4 and 6 and very light eaters, but they ate the fruit, bakery items and also ate some of the french toast. My mom came with us. We loved the food, eggs and the blueberry stuffed french toast, at least that's what i thought it was. We even ordered seconds. We thought it was a great selection, better than the breakfast they serve in Norway ( that's our opinion). They added the pictures for free, but increased the price. They take one pic and it didn't come out so well. I don't think that increasing the price for the pic was worth it for us . Its just an easy way for Disney to have increased the price. The princess's were great and they were well worth the money, because getting the pics and autographs with them at CRT would save us alot of time waiting for pics with them elsewhere. Overall we did enjoy the it and of course we did have to at least eat at the castle one time. I am not sure that we would do it again.

My familiy have had breakfast at CRT 3 times so we must consdier it worth it, but not sure about the photo bit for this August, most likley are last time now.

Its the setting and the princesses in the MK its just what you think Disney should be.

My niece and I had breakfast there 3 weeks ago, it turned out better than I expected. The photo package was very nice, one 8 x 10 and four 4 x 6. I ordered two 5 x 7's of a photopass photo we had taken in front of the castle, they were $9.95 each plus shipping, so the photo package that is included is probably worth $26 (in Disney prices).
