Is CRT really necessary with this 1 day MK plan?

I am in the middle of updating our plans for a May trip which includes 1.5 days at MK.

DD has never been to bibbidi bobbidi boutique or CRT on her past 2 trips and therefore, both were a priority for us for this trip. Because I was booking only 90 days out, the best arrangement I was able to get was BBB at 4 pm and CRT dinner at 9:40 pm. (We also booked FP+ for Anna & Elsa M&G at 6:30!)

I call almost daily and can't seem to get a better time for either BBB or CRT on the day we plan to go (or any other day the week of our trip - I am trying to be flexible if better times are available on another day). There are so many mixed reviews on CRT related to the food and I'm thinking of cancelling the CRT reservation for these reasons:

• DD will still get her time in the castle for the BBB reservation, plus she will have the A&E M&G right after
  
• Food seems to be an afterthought for CRT / experience is really what you are paying for ... and we have already booked breakfast ADR at Akershus with all the princesses another day
  
• timing for dinner is so late, plus I worry that we will drastically limit or eliminate our ability to see any part of Wishes that night

Thoughts? Anything else I am not considering?

Keep checking, right up until the day before. Because CRT is prepaid people will cancel. BBB would likely be harder to swap, but it is CC guaranteed and people do cancel.

9:40 is pretty late. How old is your DD and how does she do with staying up late?

I would try to keep both, but that's probably because we enjoyed those things so much. We visited the MK this summer for only 1 day, but still took time for CRT and are glad we did.

Something else to consider is that while it's preferable to do CRT after BBB, there's no reason you can't do it earlier in the day (for breakfast or lunch) if that's your only choice for an earlier time.

Have you tried to get an ADR with a larger party size? Once I couldn't get one for a party of 3 but got one for 6. I then called the dining # and changed it to 3 no problem. You can go down in # but not up.

We really wanted to do BBB before eating at CRT but I suppose that wouldn't be a huge issue if we ate there in the morning or at lunch. DD is 10, DS will also be with us and is 7. They do well staying up late when it comes to park visits as long they stay hydrated and have snacks between meals.

I have tried booking the ADR online for different party sizes and times in addition to calling and nothing available so far. I will keep trying.
