I'll give you the same answer I have given my 5 year old: "It's not a bad word and I don't give a crap if you say it, but don't say it at school because some people care and I don't want to be called in."
On that same note I have a friend who is way over protective of anything being said around her daugher. She is one of those people who TRIES to be so perfect you can't stand being around her. Well I have a 15 year old and he and alot of his friends were in the gym playing and her 8 year old was in the gym too. Well she came running out saying that my son said the "S" word. I'm thinking UH-OH. She ran to her mom and her mom looks at me and says "He does NOT need to say the "S" word around my daugher or anyone."
So I'm thinking okay he's going to get in trouble. I know teenagers will be teenagers and they will let cuss words slip......so I looked at him and said WHY ARE YOU CUSSING? He says MAMA I SAID THAT SUCKED!!!!!
I looked at her in disbelief. If sucked and crap are words she doesn't want her daugher to hear she better lock her up until she's 50.
not a curse word but a description of the result of a bodily function.
it is a replacement for a different 4 letter word.
But not one of carlin's 7 dirty words, or was it?
There's a few words I use with older kids(13yo+), Crap, Shut up, piss, shoot(yeah I know not that bad)...etc-you get the level. Under 13 it is totally G rated 100% of the time.
Not a curse word, but I wouldn't say it in front of say a five year old, just because I know some parents are really bothered by their little angelssaying it.

Some people are more prudish than others. When I was a kid, I couldn't say "fart". Now, that I'm an old salty sailor, my dad cusses around me like it's no big deal.
