Is construction of SSR complete?

Are all phases of the resort complete and open for booking?

They were a way off from being done at the beginning of June.

DVC may be booking some of the new construction for later in the year. Call them.

Yes, they are still doing a lot of construction. I was just there three weeks ago. They have several units still under construction... maybe 8-10 buildings. One set of buildings is taking shape. The other set was still just the framing.

I think Phase 3 is is just about complete but the last section w/golf views & it's own themed pool area is still being completed. I think I saw somewhere a projected finish of late 2007? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Are the Tree House Villas going to be part of the SS construction project....those things are in horrendous shape!!

There was a post on another thread a few weeks ago that Jim Lewis had announced on the cruise last year (? at least that's what I think the post said)
that DVC does have plans for the Treehouse Villas but were not ready to make an announcement as to what those plans are at this time....so at this point it's really a guess what will be done with TV's.....

we came back yesterday and the ones at the main entrance as a good bit nearly finished but as Minniegirl says the ones at thew/golf view are still inthe early stages. I was wondering if they were going to do another themed pool because it looked like they were building something which would resemble that.


think the ones with the w/golf view will have just that a lovely view

Minniegirl33.... I am 50, so my memory is shot....

But I think you are right. I remember reading the projected completion date for SSR is well into 2007.
