Is Club 33 that neat?

I would say it is worth it, but I like to spend my money on good food and Disney. Went a couple tomes as a small party and it was wonderful. After our wedding in 1990 the wedding party went there for brunch the next day (unfortunately my bride and I were already on a plane for WDW). Family said brunch was good also.

I just found out I have an "in" for Club 33 if we want to go. There will be 11 of us so I want to know if it's really that cool and why? Are tickets included? 5 of us have APs but the other 6 don't.

Just looking for any insights/info.

Maximum number for Club 33 standard reservations is nine people for the free Hopper pass. Given that you do not need the Hopper Pass for five of your guests, I do not know if the nine maximum applies. Maybe someone else can chime in with that information.

I went there in the early 90's. It was nice. I cant remember what I ate,but it was really good. It was fun to walk through a door that not many people can get into. Go and enjoy it. Youll have fun. JO

Jenny, you should go, if only for the history and experience alone. The food is good (not spectacular, but really good). I loved walking around and taking pictures of all the amazing art they have in there. And make sure you go out on the balconies and take pics from up there.

I say go for it! I've been there and it was great. My only caution would be to handle the issue about your party size carefully. If you contact is not someone you know personally but instead is a distant second or third hand contact then they might not love the idea of booking a ressie for that large a party for someone they don't really know. After all, you would be going as a personal guest of theirs. They are personally liable to the club if there are any no-shows in your party - to the tune of around $100 something per guest I believe . .

Also, depending on when you want to go it could be really difficult to get a ressie for a party that size. Then again it could be no problem at all. So I think you are smart to keep this possibility from the others until you find out more info.

I told my contact that I would do it alone of need be. There are 4 adult and 7 kids but I would have no issue putting the little ones in the GCV "daycare" during our meal if just the adults could go. At all. I have family in the area too if all else failed.

We like to spend our $$$ on Disney too (hence the DVC, APs). Cool doing WDW for your honeymoon.

Not because of the food, not because of the magic foding napkins, and not because of the strange toilet seat in the womens bathroom... Go because you may not get another chance and you don't want to have any regrets... Also if you do decide to go stock up on souveniers! They are easy to miss because the cabinet is so small but definately look for it!

This is absolutely why you want to go. We went two years ago with me, DH, DD7 and DD12. They LOVED it. It was a very slow day in August and there were only a few tables seated. We got the coveted corner table with windows out to the front and side balcony. We stayed there a long time and took everything in. If I remember, our bill was around $400.

Because of the cost, we won't do it again anytime soon. Maybe with grandkids. Mostly because I am a foodie, too, and the food was only good, not excellent. So I couldn't justify the expense. But as a once in a lifetime sort of thing? Definitely worth every penny.

DH is a foodie and an amazing cook, like chef amazing, no recipe needed. By the photos I don't think there is anything there he will be all that impressed with however, I think he is getting the coolness factor. I am figuring about $100 per person.

A friend said he has only had lunch and really enjoyed it but I'm looking for someone who might be able to compare lunch vs dinner. Which one is better? The original plans were to do a character breakfast and a late lunch at the Club but if convinced, we would just make it dinner instead. Opinions?

I think I would do a 1930 dinner. I would like to take my time to eat and soak up the ambiance. To be able to go out to the balcony and park watch. What a way to end an evening.

I think dinner would be better if you're doing a morning character breakfast. Either way, have a great time.

Its Amazing.

Yes its a bit costly, but if you look at the park pass + what ever you would spend for a good lunch, its about the same.

Its an amazing experience!

Being told about the Jazz bar that never happened, or the Private apartment than was never finished, or the Dream Suite.

The food is wonderful! The experience is nearly once in a life time, and the ... O go man.. its TOTALLY worth ever Penny!

It is an amazing exp. Had the opportunity to dine there last month. The exp was awesome. Knocked out 2 things off my bucket list. Dine at Club 33 and purchase and drink a cocktail in Disneyland.

The food is good but not amazing, but we ended up staying there for 4hrs. Just dining, drinking, and hangout on the balcony. If you get the chance to dine there don't pass it up.

Go. If given the opportunity, spend the money and experience it. Like everyone says, you get free park tickets for that whole day.

Our first visit last October was one that I'll never forget. We sat next to Disney executives who had DHK guests they were entertaining. The staff was some of the best we've experienced. The food was fantastic. Hanging out on the balcony afterwards for a while, watching the crowd and Fantasmic going on, was something I'll never forget. Going again this coming October. I'll go every chance I'm given.
