Is CBR THAT bad?

It doesn't take much to strike fear into the hearts of disney goers! Rest assured, CBR is a fantastic resort. We've gone twice in the last 13 months and have LOVED it. So much so, that when we first went I was unsure of how much I would enjoy WDW (it was my first time) but liked EVERYTHING (including CBR) so much that we've made it a 2 - 3x annual event. This time we will be staying at POFQ because we want to experience DW's childhood, but there will always be a special place in our hearts for Martinique at CBR.

You will LOVE IT!

We have stayed at CBR many times and loved it. I think that you have to go and give each resort a chance for yourself, since every one is different.

I happen to dislike Coronado Springs. Lots of people love it. But I went and gave it a try (but I will admit that I transfered to POFQ).

I have found that people are so different and so are the things they like.

I have always had nice stays at CBR. The food court was great (and should be getting better after the rehab) and I love sitting by the pool bar and the pools are wonderful.

Have a great time. If you want to, you will.

Adults only trips the past few years....and we really look
forward to returning to the CBR. It is so relaxed and
comfortable there. Believe it or not, we don't even spend as much time
at the parks anymore when we can just chill out in the lush
greenery and warm welcome of the CBR. You'll find us regularly
at an umbrella table near the pool bar whether it's with coffee, diet coke, or an adult beverage.....just people-watching and enjoying the
southern sunshine. CBR has become "home" for us. As my sister says,
"I don't want to have to take an elevator to see a flower." She's right! They're there...right outside the door.

Maci, go for it. We have stayed at CBR a few times and enjoyed it very much. For a very relaxing evening sit in a chair on the beach by the waters edge when the sun is setting.

CBR was my first on site stay and we loved it. The resort has recently been renovated and they've done a wonderful job. The beds were super comfy and they've added lots of extra space in the rooms, a privacy curtain and room for storing your toiletries under the vanity. It is bright and cheerful. I would definately recommend this moderate.
