Is Castle Club worth this much extra?

I've recently discovered this website and find it to be a wealth of information. I was interested in getting your opinions on a price for Castle Club next March. I have booked Disneyland Hotel for 4 nights during the "4 for 3" offer and it's costing E1236. Having read all the wonderful descriptions of Castle Club here, I've priced that and it comes to E2120, a rather large difference of E884! I'll be going with DH and DD who will be nearly five by then. We were lucky enough to go last March also (stayed in Hotel NY) and had a ball. Should I go for it with my usual line of thinking that I'll be dead long enough (miserable, I know), or should I save the money for another rainy Irish day? Thanks for your thoughts.

Just came back from DLP and stayed at the CC room. It has a very nice lounge with servers and a full bar menu (which you pay for). Breakfast is included as are cookies in the PM. CM's were absolutely awesome! Couldn't have provided better service. It was neat to take the elevator down to the turnstiles with no walking and the Fastpasses were handy but not super necessary as the queue wait wasn't much except for Big Thunder. (and this was on a Saturday!) I agree, it is hard to justify that much of a difference. I know I would be hard pressed to do it that way again. Not much help I know, we did it because we are from the US and probably will never get the chance again and wanted to try the best of the best. We were also staying only 2 nights. It was really nice to have such a short walk to the parks and also the fireworks are visible from the CC Lounge along with the audio.

I'd love to try Castle Club one day. If you don't balk at the extra price then go for it. I suspect we'll have to wait till we don't need two rooms

One of the reasons for the huge difference in price is because the Castle Club rooms are not eligible for the 4 for 3 discount. So not only is the room more expensive than regular rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, you're also essentially paying for an extra night.
