Is Capt Jack's in Downtown Disney good?

And if so can I eat there after spending the day at MK if I don't have park hopper?
Also is it far from MK to Downtown Disney? We did not rent a car.

Captain Jack's is very good. My DH and I had a wonderful meal last July. You do not need admission to visit Downtown Disney if you are going to the reastaurants or the shops. So it will not matter if you do not have the hopper option on your tickets and you go to MK during the day. Make sure to make an ADR as Captain Jack's is very popular.

Remember there are no buses that go directly between DTD and any of the parks... you have to take a bus to any resort and change to a DTD bus from there... if you go to SSR you can actually walk over or take the boat.

Loved the twin lobsters last Sept. so much that we have ADR's for this June and also ADr's for this Sept. If you are at POR or French Quarters you can also take the a boat to DTD or the bus.
