How is the food at Cape May, my DH loves seafood and or buffets, so I was wondering about the food and what it was, also who are the characters that are at the dinner? Thanks! Also how are the kids meals?

There are no characters at the dinner, only at the buffet breakfast.

Both the dinner and breakfast are buffets. Dinner is heavy on the seafood, breakfast is a typical breakfast buffet (except for Mickey waffles!). There are selections for the kids at both meals.

Breakfast selections are great. The egg dishes are good and my hubby loves the blintzes. Fresh fruit galore.

We LOVE the breakfast and the atmosphere is great!! Character interaction is also very good :)

We were there last week and thought the breakfast selection was very good. They serve Krispy Kreme donuts and a delicious apple casserole as well as a meat/eggs dish, along with all the regular breakfast stuff. We were very amused by one little girl who was only having a BIG bowl of Froot Loops. As far as the characters go, we only saW Goofy, Minnie and Chip. We don't have kids so we were fine with it, but you might be disappointed if you were expecting more characters. It seemed like they took their time with the kids and they were each wonderful with us. We had a FABULOUS server named Cindy, and we would definitely go again even thought I don't think we ate $20 worth of food between the 3 of us.

We eat there every time we go (for breakfast and dinner) not this though..need to do something different. Sigh. Only breakfast has the characters..usually Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale. We've done breakfast 2-3 times and that's all I remember seeing there. They have great interaction with the kids. It's a good breakfast about as good as all t he others. Alot for everyone. They have the usual with blintzes and Kripsy Kreme donuts, sausage, great bacon (I always eat turkey bacon, but their reg. bacon was good!) Dinner is pretty good, too. I love the peel and eat spiced shrimp.

Cape May has always been one of my favorite buffets for breakfast and dinner. It does have seafood items but I wouldn't consider it to be overwhelmed by seafood at all (in fact, a bit more would be better). I've always like their dessert selection too. Also, it is smaller restaurant than the other buffets and more low-key. I haven't been in awhile so I'm not sure how much it has changed but I'll be going back during my June trip.

Do they take PS's? I was considering the buffet for dinner the end of June but I couldn't find info as to whether or not they take PS's.

I had the chance to eat at Cape May Cafe back in March. I'm not a big seafood eat but the buffet offered quite a bit of food that was not seafood. I thought it was very good food. BTW - here is a link to nearly all of the menus at the WDW parks and resorts - http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm .
