We are on the dp and want to go to one signature. We tried citricos last visit and liked it but was thinking of trying cali grill next trip. We will have a 2 1/2 year old with us, what time should we book dinner in order to see the fireworks but not be there too late? Thanks, Linda

I'd book 90 minutes before fireworks and you should be done with dinner about the time the fireworks start.

And no, Ca Grill is not the best IMO. I'd rank it 4th because of the sushi. Without sushi, I'd rank it 5th.

I do not think it is the best signature, but I like it a lot. My favorite is Citricos followed closely by Flying Fish and Jiko.

If you do go with CG, I would try to book 2 hours ahead of the fireworks time. I think 90 minutes is a good estimate if you are actually SEATED then. But you will probably have to wait a while to be seated.

I Thought it was great. They dim the lights and went outside to view the fireworks better. You need to see when the wishes show is that night. We went about an hour before that. I don't know if this is true, but I remember reading that if your reservations were earlier, you could come back to see Wishes.

No,and not even close.
V&A is the best and by far
Next are Bistro,Jiko,AP,Il Mulino,Bluezoo

CG isn't the best signature, at least in my opinion. In fact, I'd rank it close to last as far as the signature as far as food goes. If it weren't for the fireworks viewing every night I suspect that it would rapidly fall out of favor.

No. It isn't the best.
But if fireworks are a priority, it will be fine.
Find out what time the fireworks are that evening and book about an hour or so in advance.

Best is subjective - it is my favorite because I'm a sushi lover, but on the overall experience we've had better signature dinners at both Jiko and Artist Point (and haven't yet tried Flying Fish or Citricos).

As far as atmosphere goes, it is probably the best of the bunch for a 2.5yo - not very quiet, and used to serving more kids than the other signatures. They even bring goldfish crackers along with the bread!

As another poster suggested, an ADR 90 minutes before the fireworks should have you finishing up your meal just about at the right time to go out to the deck for Wishes. Anything closer to the fireworks time and you're apt to have a longer wait for a table because of people "camping" at their tables until after the show.

For view it is but for food it isnt....Citrico's holds the top food award for us!

Whoever said V&A didn't read that you are on the DP. CG is wonderful! I liked it slightly better than Citricos I think. Flying fish has the best fish on the planet!
