Is Cabana Bay a good choice for only one night.

I took a look a,Cabana Bay and wondering if this is doable for one night before we head to Disney. ,We won't be doing Universal. Is check in easy or a pain? I ask because we stayed at Nick once and although we got in early, it was a pain waiting for a luggage cart and slow, elevator. Luckily at that time we were there for,two nights or else it wouldn't be worth the hassle. We had also, stayed at the Castle on a International Drive which I liked.

We stayed at the tower building which was pretty close to both the lobby and the parking lot so at least for us it was easy to get to our room. The only issue I would have is that it's a nice hotel,I wouldn't be happy only staying there for one night.

I know that's what I'm afraid of too that the kids won't want to leave.

I think that will be the case. They will like it so much they wont want to leave. The podcast crew recently did a review of the hotel and my favorite quote was Dustin "It is Pop Century but good". Pretty much sums it up so much better then most of the WDW hotels at a cheaper price.
