Is brunch at Chef Mickey's better than dinner?

We had dinner at CM a couple of years ago. Let's just say it wasn't the best experience and I don't care to go back. That being said the kids want to eat with Mickey, so how's the brunch?

If they really want to eat with Mickey, I would recommend Ohana breakfast or Garden Grill instead. Much better food.

Thank you! They want to eat with most of the Fab 5. What other characters are typically at Ohana and Garden Grill?

GG is Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and dale, so not all of the 5.

Similarly, Ohana is Mickey, Pluto, LILO and Stitch.

If they're more flexible, late breakfast at Tusker House gets both the breakfast and lunch food. You always get Daisy and Donald, and usually Goofy and Pluto, all in cute safari gear. Cape May is also 4/5 of the 5, where Mickey is usually the one not there.

Minnie's Holiday Dine is a dinner, but is the Fab 5 in specialty seasonal costumes. Not a brunch.

Comes down, I think, to how important Mickey vs. the rest of the 5 are, and how important edible food is. I am not a fan of Chef Mickey for the noise or the food. Tusker House is really great if you are going to be at AK and safari outfits are a good trade for Mickey. (The safari outfits are great. Seriously.)

After years of dining at CM with lack luster food we vowed to never return. Always had great experiences at Garden Grill, and much tastier food.
