I think that only concerns the DC Ranch :confused3 Haven't heard anything about stopping breakfast in the others ..where did you see it ? :)

Is this definite Carrie? I asked at the DC reception at Christmas but they didn't know anything about it. Seems an odd deviation for just 1 of the hotels :confused3

Afaik it was first said that they would stop breakfasts at DCR in Jan and then it got moved to the start of the new season in April

When I was looking at the flash sale on the French site it did say something about it

Will go and have a look again now ;)

We have booked for October and breakfast is included at the Cheyenne

Your stay includes:
- 1 or 2 nights at a Disney Resort (depending package booked)
- Breakfast for the duration of your stay (except Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch from March 29, 2012)
- Tickets for access to two Disney Parks for the duration of your stay
- Local taxes for the duration of your stay

It's just the DCR as thought which is why I'm wondering what Newdisneyfan has seen in case it's a change that will be coming into force later on in the season

Was just looking up about the dining plans as I had only done them in Orlando. What do you think?

It is only concerning the DCR.

For arrivals from 29th March 2012, Meal Plans for guests staying at the Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch(5) will also include breakfast (already included in the package for the other hotels).

If you look at the little 5 after the text ^^

Terms and Conditions:

From 29th march 2012. (2) For adults only (3) Child from 3-11 years inclusive. (4) Except on 24th and 31st December 2011. (5) From 29th March 2012 onwards, breakfast will not be included in the package. It will be available either by booking a Meal Plan option or on sale directly onsite.

The other hotels have still a breakfast included in the price of their nights accommodation. :goodvibes

I think most people don't bother with the meal plans as you are not (really) saving any money especially as they are pegged onto the old exchange rate

The advantage that they do offer is that you know where you are with your spending as everything is paid in advance so it depends wether that is important to you or not :goodvibes

Shame.

I thought this might mean that they'd start using the restaurant for breakfasts, but as they've only just renovated some of the breakfast huts, I guess they'll still be serving from those?

I wonder if they'll reduce the hotel costs to compensate, lol.
