Is BoG worth to money?

We went in December last year and ate all 3 meals there.

Breakfast was a PPO which was great. It's a must to pre order your food. Breakfast was our first meal on our first day in the park so it was perfect for my 16 year old loving Beauty and the Beast girl. We all had something different and enjoyed all of it. We sat in the ballroom but looked in all 3 rooms trying to decide where to sit. The ballroom was beautifully decorated for Christmas

Lunch was good also. Pre-ordered which was great. We ate here on our last day. Loved the french onion soup. The other food was good. We ate in the west wing.

We had dinner on the same day as breakfast and we loved it!! We were seated in the ballroom. The steak was awesome. The shrimp and scallops were good. My girls loved the grey stuff. IMO it was ok. The other desserts were good. Our waitress was great. Never felt rushed. Meeting Beast was fun. Since it was my dd's birthday, she got a signed birthday card from Belle and the Beast.

We would definitely eat all 3 meals there again. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

We think the lunch is totally worth it! The sandwiches are some of the best on property. We booked dinner there this year and hoping for the same great experience

As a vegetarian, I say it is worth it. I love having a different option than a veggie burger or a salad. And I love that the soups are vegetarian.
Add to that the fact that I can have some bubbly with my meal and I'm one happy guest!

Lunch never again. It was chaos, overcrowded and just confusing about what was served and what you had to do yourself (after ordering). The ordering itself could go a lot faster if you had a cm operating the register and not guests letting their kids do the work. And because it was so busy walking around and admiring the beauty of the castle was impossible.

Dinner maybe, but the menu isn't that special. Would probably only do it if I want to stay in the park for dinner. Although I then still might chose the Liberty Tree Tavern, I thought the atmosphere there was better, the servers more relaxed and it's much easier to get a reservation.

Did BOG this April for lunch and I am glad I did it since it was my first time. Will I do it again? Probably not.

Going back this November and BOG is not in my plan.

Just for the braised pork for lunch yes. You can share, it's huge portion! But not share the Green beans because They are sooooo good!

Why Not? The food is really good and everywhere else you go to dine inside the parks are pretty much just as expensive or some even more expensive. I think it is worth it for sure. Every time we have been our family has enjoyed our meals.

Lunch is a better value relatively speaking. The setting is better than the food though. Its Disney food, not horrible, not amazing.....its ok.

I say for dinner absolutely. The food is great and they have a nice wine selection. You can't beat having wine in the magic kingdom :) plus the atmosphere is amazing.

We have only eaten lunch there and we all (Me, DS14, DS5, DW and my Mom) all loved it and ate every bite. For me that isn't very surprising but for the kids that borders on incredible. DS14 is incredibly picky and typically eats only a few different things. He got grilled cheese and tomato soup and ate it all. DS5 loved his also. We would definitely recommend it for lunch.

I felt it was worth it. I had a great dinner there and enjoyed every morsel of food they brought. Of course, your mileage may vary as the two ladies at the table next to us barely touched any of their food and seemed to no be liking it overall. It was pricey, but I felt it worht it.

For the record I and my dining partner had:

Assorted Cured Meats & Sausages Platter (Oh WOW! so good! - has pate just FYI)
Braised Pork (Coq au Vin Style) (my entree)
Roasted Lamb Chop (friend's entree, if I recall correctly anyway)
The "Grey Stuff" cookie bar thing (better than a cupcake!)
Lemon-Raspberry Cream Puff (probably my least favorite thing here - I have had most of the other cupcakes at lunch here and there)

Have only been there for lunch. Everyone thought their food was good. I can't say anything was exceptional, except one of the cupcakes was so enjoyed that a member of our party ordered a second! Now being that it was during a hot time of year, the ability to sit in the a nice cool building was most appreciated.

We were at BOG on 5/31 for lunch. It was worth the money to me. Our food was great and I loved the castle. My husband had the pork. I had the kids turkey sandwich and both my boys had the grilled cheese. It was nice to get out of the heat inside and know that we would have a table without searching. I didn't pay that much more than any other quick service restaurant we ate at that week. Free refills are always a bonus to us too. We'll definitely try to eat there again on our next trip.

We love it but we hold a totally opposite opinion on Disney dining than you do. We think most of the TS locations are excellent, well better than a night out at Chili's is, for instance.
As someone who goes to professional and college stadiums and is used to those prices, Disney food prices are a bargain.

For first time and for first time experience, yes. Will we do it again? NO. We did lunch and food was okay and love looking inside BOG but will not be doing it again.
