When should we go?

We fancied going in june but understand the weather is a bit unpredictable!

What about feb?

Hi there

The first time I ever went to WDW was in June and I loved it. The weather was beautiful and the crowds not too bad at all. I dont know what the weather is like in Feb im afraid as Ive never been then, but I can highly reccomend June. Have fun planning :thumbsup2

Difficult one, the weather in June will be hot and humid - the weather in February will be ???

I have put ? because you just don't know, it is unpredictable this time of year and very often quite cool in the morning and evening, so if you decide on February you will probably get some lovely sunny weather without the humidity of the summer months, but you will also probably get days where it is on the cool side.
Last March when we went there were 3 or 4 days where it rained all day too.

I think weather-wise they are totally different personally, but I would prefer June myself.

We went in February '05 and the only drawbacks were:

Cool mornings and cold evenings
The early evenings as it was dark by 6pm
Two days of rain

Apart from these we had a great time, the crowds were lighter in all the parks and during the main part of the day it was bright, sunny and warm.

Hi

When do the American schools break up for summer? We went in 1996 and 1998 and the crowds were medium/high. The American schools broke up. The crowds were certainly quieter than July/August. We were still having to wait for 2 hours for bigger rides and at least an hour for smaller rides.

Thje weather was hot and humid. Around 33-35c when we went. Personally we love October, but I think this will be a problem for us if I start my nurse training next Sept :sad2:

We were there late Feb to mid March and the weather was glorious. Very warm and not one drop of rain in the 2.5 weeks we were there! Crowds were very, very low until Monday 13th March when Spring Break started. Each day got busier, but we were on our way home by 17th.

I *think* we may have been lucky with the weather as I hear it can be a little cool. Not for us. Even the evenings were warm, some mild, but I could not say any were cold.

I would consider going the same time again.

Having been in both February and June, and if I had to chose between the two once again, I would go for February.

The darker evenings don't matter as the parks are even better at night. Yes, it can be cold in the morning and at night, but you can dress up to account for that. What I feel you won't miss is the higher temperatures/humidity and the busier parks in June.

Furthermore, It's so nice to be in the sun when the UK can be minus frozen to death!

As mentoned above, you will want to check US school holiday dates, as it starts to get very busy in June - not sure exactly when in June, though.
