We stayed at ASMu last summer and really loved it. This summer I've booked ASMo but have heard that it's much busier and noisier than ASMu. Has anybody stayed at both? How do they compare?
Thanks
Tracy

We stayed at the Movies last year and loved it!!! We were in one of the Buzz buildings and the room overlooked Andy's room. It was very close to the foodcourt, pool & bus stop. The room was cleaned everyday before noon (and we never requested that). We did a walk around the resort and loved the different themes. It is also a quick walk over to the Music resort. We really liked it here. ENJOY!!!!

We've stayed at the All Star Movies twice now - its my 5 yr olds absolute favorite! (We haven't tried Music yet)
We were in Love Bug and 101 Dalmations. Both times, our room was very quiet - we never heard our neighbors. Its a short walk to the food court/bus stops. I think the All-Stars have some of the best transportation on property! I didn't find the Movies to be all that crowded - when we were in the Love Bug section, we didn't even see anyone in our whole section of the building!
I think you'll enjoy your stay.

I have stayed at both ASMU and ASMO. You won't be dissappointed with Movies. It is great Disney atmosphere! If you have kids they will really enjoy it. We don't plan on staying anywhere else. As far as it being busier than Music... we were there Easter week (one of THE busiest times) and we didn't find that we were overwhelmed with people. We used the food court a lot and didn't have any problems finding tables, long lines, etc. We also found the bus service to be excellent, even at such a busy time.

Hope you have a great trip!

We've stayed at both and found that we prefer Movies.:) We found the foodcourt to be better at Movies and, at least while we were there, it was quieter than when we stayed at Music. Actually, we never had a problem with noise in the room at either one - just seemed rowdier at the ASMu foodcourt and pool. There were lots of kids at both places but it seemed to be more of an older group at ASMu - I would say teens to early twenties. Most of the kids we saw at Movies were younger. Of course, this could be because the theming attracts different age groups or it could have just been the timing. Hope this helps.:)

We stayed @ASMo 11/2001 and will be staying @ASMu 11/2002. We were very happy with the entire resort and I don't think you can beat the value. 11/2000 we decided to spend the money and stay @CR, but I found the few amenities didn't compare with the theming or value of the AS. I wasn't at all bothered by any noise or crowds. It was great. Have a wonderful trip. ºoº
