We'll be cruising April 1st to 4th on the Dream. Can we book for podcast cruise 3.0 while on board to take advantage of the onboard booking discount?

I've never been on any sort of cruise before, so I'm not sure how these discounts work. How much of a discount do you get?

The answer to your question is more complicated than yes or no.

The Dis Unplugged has decided to limit the size of Podcast Cruise 3.0 and 4.0.

Many folks booked prior to the Podcast Cruise and even more re-booked while on board.

We have held a certain amount of "group space" on the Podcast Cruise and with the pre-bookings and on board re-bookings, there is small amount of that group space still open.

Once that group space fills (and unfortunately, I dont know when that will happen), we will stop taking reservations for 3.0 and place people on a waitlist.

I cant say with any certainty if there will be space available in April.

When re-booking on board, you usually get 10% of the cruise fare and an on board credit commensurate with the category of stateroom you book. The higher the category you book, the larger the on board credit.

Because the Podcast Cruise is being booked in "group space" (meaning we held a certain amount of rooms at the best pricing), you will receive the on board credit, but not the 10% discount.

I hope this makes sense. If you have any questions....please feel free to ask.

Is there any further ideas on PCC 4.0 especially if it will be longer than the 4 night as that was too short for us? A west coast cruise (if available) would be good as well so it can link in with DL.

We won't be able to make any decisions on PCC 4.0 until DCL releases their itineraries for the last half of 2012.
