Is Apple pay accepted at WDW? Do Cast Members know what they are talking about?

A question and a rant! lol

Is apple pay accepted at WDW? Specifically at the Hotel Registration desk? As in can I swipe my phone to pay for my remaining balance of a room only reservation?

I emailed this question along with request for details on exactly where apple pay is accepted as it is stated that they do participate in Apple Pay, but I was just not exactly sure where in the resorts. The response from guest services??

I waited for 2 days to get this response? Seriously? They also said in the email they sent out prior that it would take some time to get back as they want to get me accurate info.

I've used Apple pay at the resort everywhere you can pay with credit card or magic band. Which is practically everywhere but paying for the resort rooms themselves.

That includes the grand Floridian gingerbread house!

Disney does so many things right when it comes to business including top notch customer service...except for this. How come they can't get their cast members updated on things actually offered/not offered at WDW??? You shouldn't have to keep calling/emailing/whatever until you get a person that knows what's going on at WDW. Frustrating. I'm glad I have the DIS and blogs to get information. Oh the poor people that just rely on Disney for info.

Maybe Disney should start instructing their CMs to come on to the Disboards and research questions before giving a response. They would surely end up giving more accurate info than with whatever system they are currently using.
