Is anything within walking distance from Pop?

The last time we were at Disney Pop wasn't built yet. And from looking at the pictures I can't really tell for sure if anything is within walking distance or not.

Pop Century is not within walking distance of any theme park. It might be in walking distance of CBR but that's all I could come up with. There aren't any paths or any sidewalks that would allow one to walk between the two anyway.

Walking anywhere outside the resorts is discouraged. As mentioned there are no sidewalks and also there is a lot of speeding traffic.

Last summer we wanted to walk from the bus at MK over to the CR and one of the bus drivers stopped us and said that walking was a VERY dangerous idea because of the traffic and the snakes.

Nope! Can walk around the resort, but that's about all.

Maybe he was kidding? Disney put in a walkway from the MK bus depot to CR several years ago.

Snakes?? I wondered if there were some in there. Not surprised at all.

Nope, he wasn't kidding. The poster was referring to not going all the way around the bus area and over to the sidewalk. When you get off the bus from POP, it's so very tempting to just walk to the right, on the grass and just cross the road. It must cut the walk in half, at least! But, I always wondered if there were any creepy-crawlies in there!!!

Yep..that's exactly what I was getting at. The sidewalk is as far from the bus stop as the CR.

The snakes...I've had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing. DH thought it would be fun to pick one up and if he does it again I'll be getting a divorce.
