... watching Nickelodeon right now? I just put Nick on because I'm REALLY bored and Clarissa Explains It All is on! I used to absolutely LOVE that show!!! Did anyone else watch Nick when it had those type of shows one? Others were Hey Dude!, Welcome Freshmen!, and (the absolute classic) Salute Your Shorts. I used to love these shows!! I wish they were still on Nick- did anyone else watch these when they were younger? If not, what shows did you watch when you were around 8 or 9 years old?

omg yes!!! i remember Stick Stickley!! remember when he visited the Twin Towers in New York City to see his long lost twin? haha i remember going to NYC a couple years ago and being like "haha I remember that!"! I really wish these shows were still on!! Nothing on today compares to them!

Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude and Clarissa Explains it all were the best! And does anyone remember Roundhouse on the original snick? That was the best show! I wanted to dance like them soooo bad!

Omg, I use to love all of those shows, I wish they would show them on Nickelodeon! My sister turned on Nickelodeon the other day and I saw Clarissa on too and that surprised me! I also really loved Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude. I found this tape in my house and it had a couple episodes of Hey Dude on it and I really miss that show!

And also, I was watching Different Strokes on Nick-at-Nite and that red headed kid from Salute Your Shorts (don't remember his name) was on that show and he was like 5 years old, he was so funny!

OMG!!! I loved Roundhouse!!!! Does anyone else remember some like teenage soap opera thing that Nick used to have on? I can't remember exactly what it was called...I think it was like Fifteen or something? Anyone remember that??

Man, we'd watch those shows every day!! They're classics! Especially Salute Your Shorts! Do yall remember Legends of the Hidden Temple? That was our absolute favorite show!! We'd watch the show, and then go to the basement of my sitter's house and try playing it! lol!

natalie-yeah I do!! and Double Dare and GUTS?? I know that all the games still come on GAS(Nick Games and Sports) I remember watching Legends of the Hidden Temple and how hard it was!! I watched it like at Easter and I was dying laughing..it was such an easy show!! except the temple is still hard.

Nick is sooo BLAH! now!! all these stupid shows!! except Rugrats are cool! its a totally pre-teen station now!!! they need to bring back all those classics shows!!!

WAAAAAAAH! I SO miss the "old" nickelodeon!

I was just thinking about "Hey, Dude"...I still remember thinking Melody (i think that was her name) was hot. And 'welcome freshmen'...i loved that commercial with Coach Roach making the freshmen running in place with the TV's on their heads..."So you wanna watch Welcome Freshman? Well you're gonna do it the COACH ROACH WAY! MUAHAHAHAHAA!" lol! i had a gym teacher like that in middle school...Coach Hassler, we called him Harassler. Oh yea I totally remember 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' with the corny talking temple head, 'Double Dare' which I went to see live in '96 when it came to my area...and then all those other awesome Snick shows like Roundhouse (loved it), Are You Afraid Of The Dark (loved it) and that other cool one they put on before or after Roundhouse...I still remember Kenan and Kel, and ohhhmygod what was it called...geez. Ohhh for the days of Rugrats, Ren n' Stimpy and all those other awesome shows.
