Is Anyone Watching The Grammy's/

I hated the way the show ended. There are so many shows that go into overtime. This is the Grammys and it deserved a proper close.

Oh well, had fun with y'all! Goodnight!

TiVo somehow went nuts and skipped Best New Artist so who won?

I knew when he went up there it wasn't a joke. This is Kanye if you follow him you know what you're getting. Yes he made it look nice for tv, he has an album on the way so he wasn't going to do anything to threaten that. I understand his feelings that Beck shouldn't have won it, honestly I feel it should've been between Sam or Beyonce. However this is the Grammy's and history shows they tend to go for the album that isn't the most talked about, not mainstream, etc. I'm just confused as to why he thought it would be any different.

The thing is Kanye loves to mouth off about his creativity and how superior he and his friends like Jay-Z and Beyonce are. Kanye talks into a microphone for a living. Even then his words have to be auto-tuned. His most popular song Stronger was a remake of Daft Punk's Harder, Better, Faster Stronger that had been released 8 years prior. Kanye and all the Kardashians need to just fall off the planet. I'm so tired of them.

Ok, rant over. Now I'm really going to bed. Goodnight!

I totally agree that he has a problem with his mouth but he is definitely very creative with over 20 grammys under his belt. The autotune is part of his latter albums and I agree it needs to go. Also Stronger was huge but definitely not his most popular. Maybe his popular mainstream, but if I had to guess Golddigger is probably his most popular...which is funny with who he is married to.

Ok, I had to come back. So it turns out Kanye did storm the stage ("in jest") and it was edited out for the most part. Then he proceeded to rant backstage. That guy is a total tool. I can't stand him. Here's the link... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...5-LIVE-57th-Annual-Grammy-Awards-happens.html
I heard about that this morning! Seriously, what was he thinking? I thought it was funny that he was joking about it, then i find out about his comment afterwards. What an idiot!

I honestly couldn't tell you one thing Kanye sings.
@Gumbo4x4 Look at Heartless and Gold digger on youtube. Im sure youve heard these songs but just didnt realise it was Kanye. Gold Digger is my fave.

Yes, it was weird. Overall, really not impressed. One of the worst grammy's ever.

Some good performances, but overall, as a cohesive show, it was a suck fest. Why even bother calling it "The Grammy Awards"? About 75% of the nominees didn't perform, and at least half of the performances had squat to do with Grammy material. Just give all the awards out earlier in the day, and advertise the show as a multi-artist concert (featuring a few Grammy nominees).

My favorite: Evil Woman and Mr. Blue Sky, but what do ELO songs from the 70s have to do with the 2015 Grammys?

*** moment: Sia, or whatever her name is, and her "performance art."

Sam Smith: poor guy, he sounds talented, but getting multiple awards as a rookie is often the kiss of death. Only a 50% chance that he'll be relevant in three years.

LLCoolJ: why even bother having a host? After his welcome, his combined screen time during the rest of the show couldn't have been more than 3 minutes. I think there was an hour stretch without an appearance.

I guess Pop Standards is Lady GooGoo's latest obsession. Tony Bennett is liable to croak soon, and she'll move on to something else.

Other good stuff: Annie Lennox, AC/DC, Tom Jones duet with Jessie someone, Mary J. A lot of the rest I've already forgotten.

Overall a mediocre C-.

Sia is beyond weird. She sang the entire time facing a wall. This thing about her not wanting to show her face is just odd. I agree with you about Sam Smith and the kiss of death. I guess we'll just wait and see what happens. BTW I find this grammy's too gospel-y. Not a fan.
