Is anyone there today - Mon 7-7-08?

We are thinking of popping in tomorrow for the day...I am wondering if the crowds are normal summer crowds or if there is still a lingering of excess people from July 4th.

My daughter, Kelly, is there today with her friends. I can ask her how the crowds are, but not until later when she comes home.

Actually, lower than normal crowds were reported over the weekend. Tomorrow, will probabaly be a good time to go.

WOW - I am thinking some of those wait times are even shorter than the wait times on my trip in February....if it wasn't for the heat I could consider going back to DLR in the summer.

As far as I know there aren't any fires affecting the air quality in DL, the fires are up here in the North, I haven't heard of any down South...anyone??

I hope those are accurate, we are leaving tomorrow night and will be there thru Sunday, thanks to the GREAT Ent Rate I got at the HoJo this morning! YAY!

Oh PLEASE PLEASE let them stay that way or better!! We will be at DL/CA for only 2 days tomorrow and thursday!! I am taking 9 girl scouts and only 3 have ever been to DL and I want to sqeeze in as much as possible, so short wait times would be great!!

We just got back and the longest line I saw was for splash mountain and it was 45 min. Everything else was about a 10 min wait or get right on.

Pixie, what was the HoJo rate? We are going later this month and I've reserved 2 Q Suite for three nights for around $120 a night. I've looked into the Entertainment rate but I was unsure how to redeem. Any advice? Thanks!

We were there today

Besides the two big mountain rides, there were waits of 20-30 minutes posted at Buzz and Autopia, but there was not the sea of humanity I had heard existed in normal summer visits.

It was very managable today.

Thank you all for your great responses... unfortunately DH decided he wanted to stay home for the day and run errands. Hopefully the kids and I can go tomorrow as we have nothing else scheduled.....
And hopefully the crowds will still be lower...
