Is anyone taking advantage of the Disney Visa FREE dining offer??

We were going anyway so I think alot of people might be in our boat and this just saved us some money. We are cutting way back this year and changed from CR MK view to POP so even though we are still going we had to scale down.

I wonder... Would it be worth while to check into this for our trip? We'll be there the 7th-16th, so it falls during our stay. But we don't have a Dusbey Visa, despite the thousAnds of offers we've received.

We booked directly through Disney, could we change our plans thru DU?

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the offer is made available to the general public. You might want to call anyway to see if maybe there is a pin code assigned to your household that you're not aware of. And yes, you should be able to change to DU as long as you haven't paid in full. You can just send them an email and ask about transfering the resv.

thank you calypso! I sent in a request to DU this am. I know if u don't look into this I'd feel stupid later!

Plus I did regret not knowing enough to just book through DU in the first place.

Is anyone concerned, as I am, that if Disney keeps offering free dining, or extending it this long the quality of the food will continue to decline? Hopefully not, but it is very possible.

I'm not sure Aaron, I think this is more of a response to the bad economy and them trying to fill their resorts and parks than anything else. Although anything is possible so I wouldn't be surprised if we do see the food quality decline or the choices limited to 2-3 things on the menu for the dining plan.

What does concern me though is that they are offering this right up until their busy Christmas week. Makes me wonder how many people are staying home this Christmas. When I spoke to CRO he said the offer is good until 12/24 (Christmas Eve) and that you can book anything from now until then

I had to fall rate for my Nov trip, called last week and changed over to Visa FD saved 200! Plus my flights went down briefly and I caught that and save 290 more
