Is anyone staying at WL Nov25-Dec2?

I was just wondering what rates people were getting. I was told my rate was cheaper than the fall pin code, and that I was already booked under a 3 letter package pin and a pin for dining. I never booked it with a pin. And whats a 'dining pin'? Our rates are: WL standard 7 nights, 8 day hoppers and dining for 3 adults==$ 3314.15== Is this good?

Regular price for adult 8 day MYW w/Hopping is $283.29.
For 3 adults that would be $849.87

Regular price for 8 days of dining for an adult is $312
For 3 adults that would be $936.

Subtracting those from your total gives us: $1,528.28.
Divided by 7 nights = $218.32 - which I guess includes the extra charge for the 3rd adult in the room.

Value season rate for a standard view room is $215 + tax.

I would say you don't have the best deal I've ever heard of, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, providing your total includes tax.

But I will tell you this - I don't think there is anything available at the WL right now from Nov. 25th through Christmas other than Courtyard view and higher, so in that respect you scored big time. I would love to be able to trade my courtyard view room for a woods or standard view room and the $$$ savings that entails. As it is I will probably cancel at WL and book at a mod if a better price doesn't come along. But with the limited availability at WL I am not very hopeful...

Stinky, thanks for the break down. The third adult is actually a 10 yr old but he is charged the adult rate for the dining plan. I was thinking the same about switching to a mod but my heart is set to stay at WL. We had a water view at POFQ booked but we changed it to WL. I was really hoping for a better deal. We have the Disney Visa so maybe that might work. Lets keep our fingers crossed! Oh and we have only 7 days of dining. Not such a deal now is it?!?

My sister has been trying to get something below a courtyard view, and there is nothing available, literally. I checked today, and the only thing available is a 1-bedroom villa at the Villas. I'm glad she's at least got a room! I guess Christmas is a happenin' time there!

I love the WL at any time, but yes, Christmas is very special. When I walk into the lobby and see the HUGE Christmas tree I get all warm and fuzzy inside. The trouble is that a lot of other people like the WL at Christmas too!

So since you are in the Villas, that means you will be using their tiny pool and you won't bug us at the nice big lodge pool, right? Although, maybe you can come by and shoo the little people out of the hot tubs once in a while. I think there are two, so one for you and yours and one for me and mine!

Please just don't pee in the pool. I have heard that there is now a product that you put in pool water that turns the water bright pink if it comes in contact with urine. Keep that in mind, will ya.

My family is booked for the WL woods view with bunk beds for 6 days, 6 day park hopper and dining plan with all taxes included at total price of: $2664.

I only have 1 child and she is 5, so not sure what charged for her.

I am also so hoping for a better price.....but I'm not sure how the discounts work....if the WL is sold out, can I still apply discount code if one comes out?
