Is anyone planning on taping the Christmas Day Parade?

Your welcome. I was there for the Friday taping and saw Brian Selzer and I heard that our local wasn't showing it at all. I wasn't happy since I had donned snowflake ears and stood around for 5 hours waving and clapping and wanted my family to see me acting like an idiot. I saw some locals on another board discussing this as well and found out about channel 21. Thought I'd pass the info on.

DisneyatNight - if we do end up taping the parade, I will send you a copy. My DH can burn it onto a DVD easily enough.

I am SOOOO not happy about this!! I just checked comcast's programing for myself and its true. Instead Channel 5 in Boston is scheduled to air Patriots All Access. The Patriots aren't even playing that day!

We were at Disney during the taping. So now we have to tape it at 3am Monday morning and watch it some other time. Boy, that sure takes the fun out of it.

I've already sent an email to Channel 5 telling them we are not a happy family. I love the Patriots, but on Christmas Day I want to watch the Disney parade.

ANd what stinks even more is Channel9 in Manchester isn't broadcasting it that day either. Both are 3am the next day. I guess it's all well and good for us because we're surprising DD with a trip for Christmas so I'll record it and she'll be able to see it after she knows. It'll make it all the more exciting, but I'm disappointed we can't watch it on Christmas.

Last year our local ABC station aired it, so I just ASSUMED they would this year. I guess I'd better look into it a little more. I stood in one spot for 5.5 hours hoping to be on TV and acting like an idiot in my mickey ears santa hat and Mickey/Santa hat earrings. I'd be really disappointed if it wasn't even aired here. I don't care if I'm in the final cut of the broadcast, I just want to see what they did with all they filmed while I was there that Saturday.

Well then....I'm another one that stood around for 4 hrs on Friday, the 2nd for the taping. And now, thanks to DISers (as usual) I find that I can't watch it Christmas morning!!! Looks like I will go to church for a change. Guess I'll have to tape it. That really stinks. Thanks for the heads up though Boston people!!

According to their websites
Eau Claire, Wausau, Madison and La Crosse do not have the parade listed at any time on Sunday
Green Bay and Milwaukee are both showing it at 10am
