Not going out here either. Last year DH and I went to our local mall since they were doing a "open at midnight" promo - however, two of our favorite stores weren't scheduled to open until 6, or something, and none of the department stores were open. Kinda lame.
Anyway, this year I've pretty much seen all the same deals online. After Thanksgiving with the family, DH and I wanted to drive around and just be out of the house so we went and scoped out our local
Walmart,
Best Buy, and Target. Walmart was packed! Best Buy had about 25 people in line, some didn't even have chairs (at 9 PM

) and Target had about 15. The target crowd was definitely the youngest crowd - I swear they were a line of different groups of high school students camping out.
Funniest part of the night...while we were in the shopping center, we happened to drive by Ultimate Electronics and there was ONE guy sitting there with a chair and his laptop.

Wow, you go dude. We even attempted to sing him one of those "Here's to you" budlight radio commercial "songs." Then we returned home to our warm house, I got some stuff at JCP for around $40 and saved about $120...so there was my Black Friday--on Thursday.
