Is anyone here impressed with the Contempory Hotel ROOMS?

We spent 2 nights in the tower in 2001 & the convenience to MK along with the view of the castle, water pageant & fireworks was worth it. We had an annual pass rate of 149.00 at the time, I'm not sure if they do that anymore. The only inconvenience we found was the parking because we drive down & like easy access to our vehicles. (We're dedicated All Star Sports fans because of the accessibility for our handicapped friend). Another awesome feature was being able to see your room from Chef Mickey's along with the monorail right outside your door! Give it a try, you'll love it! Cathie & The Gang :flower1:

We stayed there during our OCT/Nov trip in the wing room closest to the tennis courts.

We had a car rental, that we loved just walking out of our room to get into. We walked to the MK 9/10 times. The buses were plentiful to go to other parks when we didn't drive, and the Monorail wasn't as convenient because it made all of those stops. We chose a room on the 1st floor closest to the door/parking lot.

At night, all that we had to do was walk onto the lawn to see Wishes. Others had brought their lawn chairs from their patios to the walking path.

Since they've changed Wishes (fireworks repositioned) during the Christmas Holiday, I'm not sure if the Fireworks show is still to the right of tomorrow land. You would still have an awesome view. :Pinkbounc :flower1:

Okay, okay, to each it's own.....LOL! I certainly didn't want to get 1 or 2 people on the defense, just posted my opinion. Some people stated that the pictures on all ears . com didn't do the rooms justice....

I still think they charge alot of money whether you see the castle or not, but that's only my opinion. I do think they have a GREAT feature and that's the monorail running through the building. I wonder what the refurbishment will look like?

Thanks for all your comments!

We have annual passes too! I would like to try this place if we could possibly get it for $159.00 a night. I would like to try it after the refurbishment though. Thanks!

We stayed at CR South Wing last June. I was very pleased with the room itself. Clean, plenty of space, nice bathroom, nice view from our patio, good location. The downside was that the resort area itself was somewhat unkempt.

We booked the CR garden wing for $199/night with the AP rate in March (peak season). I'm very excited to hear all of these great reviews. I was a little hesistant at first, but then I looked at the pictures on www.allearsnet.com.

Jimmi-

Thanks for your observation about the grounds being unkept....Hopefully, they'll change that.

Hi Sherri-

What did you think about the pictures at all ears? Thanks for posting the link. We've stayed at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas for $140.00 a night with lake (fountain view) and it was top notch! Extremely classey and quite luxorious....Talk about getting the most bang for your buck....

We checked out the AKL and it really looked upscale as did the WL.

Thanks for your comments
