Hi, we are going from Dec. 2 to 16. Seven of us all together. Can't wait!

Wow 7 sounds like it would be alot of fun to have that many people going!Where are you staying?Sounds like we are going to be down there for roughly the same time.:santa:

I will be in the "World" November 29th to December 7th

Do I understand this correctly, you are flying from NZ?
If so, this will be a loooong flight for your family!!!

OT:
I flew to NZ Dec 29,2006 from Toronto - San Francisco - Auckland - Dunedin to join my cousin and family for New Years 2007 and loved the country :thumbsup2 It was beautiful.

It was just my daughter and I and we travelled from Dunedin to Te Anau, Milford Sound, Queenstown, Greymouth, Christchurch, Picton, Wellington, Rotarua and back up to Auckland, then flew to Fiji for a week before returning home via Los Angeles. What a trip :thumbsup2

Anyway, seems like there will be a few of us Dis'ers down in WDW in December, and I can't wait

Good luck with your planning :goodvibes

Hi Carol,
Thankgoodness nope I am from New Zealand, for the most part from Rotorua!I now live in Canada so just a 6ish hour trip.I love to hear from other people that have travelled Down Under and hear what they thought of it!Would love to meet up with some people off here too.Wow sounds like you got in alot of places while visiting my Aotearoa/New Zealand.
hugs kt

Booked for Dec. 13 - Jan. 1st at FW. Will be our 5th Christmas at WDW.

We are going on December 7 - 17, Yacht Club, and attending the MVMCP on the 11th. Can't wait, planning on booking our meals in advance this week.

Yup i have to book mine tomorrow,so we will see what happens.Since it is our first trip I have no idea what to expect to happen when I make that call!

We will be there from the 3rd to the 12th, staying at a FW cabin. It's me, my son and his wife, and their three kids (my grandchildren). My daughter-in-law's sister and her family, who live in Trinidad, are meeting us there and will also be getting a cabin. They have two kids, so we'll have five adults and five kids. We're planning to do Hoop Dee Doo for the first time, and also the Grand Gathering Safari in AK.

Wow teresa it sounds like you are going to be in for alot of family fun!!!How neat to be able to go with a big group like that!

I think it will be a good-sized group - but when I celebrated my 50th birthday in WDW a couple of years ago, we had a group of 52!! Well, people came and went at different times, but we had 52 at my big birthday breakfast at Boma. That trip was SO much fun!

And I should also mention - I'm going to New Zealand at the end of September and early October. I'm speaking at a conference there, so I'm taking a little extra time so I can check out some of the countryside. Auckland, Rotorua, Coramundel (I think I spelled that wrong) and the Bay of Plenty is what we're planning. (My youngest son is coming with me.)

Oh teresa you are going to have so much fun!New zealand is a little version of Canada!I am so glad to see you are going to get to see some of my favourite places. Are you going to be driving yourselves or using a tour company?

Our plan is to rent a car and drive ourselves. I did see a website with a company that offered self-driving tours, so we might try that. I already have batches of brochures and info from various places.

I just wish it wasn't such a long flight! That's the part I'm not looking forward to.

It is a long flight but so worth it.We flew to Australia when our son was 10 months old, flying home he had a double ear infection and did so well!I am glad you have been getting lots of info, hopefully now you will be able to understand the accents!lol I get told we talk fast, but I don't see that??!!lol I do not even think we have accents?!

We will be at WDW from Dec 14 - 21. MVMCP will be on the 16'th and plan to play a round of golf also. We are staying at the VWL.

My family and I will be at WDW from December 13-23 and will be staying at the Contemporary. After that we are going to Clearwater Beach until New Years Day.
